Season Two #1-"The Race" Airdate 9/25/1993 After receiving a horse named Flash from Snowbird, Michaela decides to enter the Territory Stakes Race. She is upset to find out that women are not allowed to enter the race, according to the race officials, Loren and Jake. To make matters worse, a visiting doctor (Dr. Cassidy) will not eccept her diagnoses of his injured rider, because she is a woman. This eventually leads to his death. She is determined to prove she can do it, so she dresses like a man, and wins the race. #2-"Sanctuary" Airdate 10/2/1993 Dorothy (Loren's sister in-law) is introduced in this episode. She comes to town after "falling off a horse", determined to end her marriage. Loren lets her stay with him, and is distraught when Dorothy's husband convinces her to come back. He beats her again, so she hit him on the head with a skillet and goes back to Loren. Her husband is found dead the next morning and she is blamed. Michaela, out to prove Dorothy's innocence, does an autopsy and finds that he died from alchohol poisoning. Dorothy is released and starts Colorado Springs first newspaper. #3-"Halloween" Airdate 10/30/1993 The thrills are here! Michaela thinks people are playing a trick on her, when they keep finding a man dead, only to have him dissapear when she gets there. After Sully decides to spruce up the homestead, Michaela is haunted by the ghost of Abigail, until she gives her a rocking horse made by Sully. And Brian believes that Dorothy is a witch, but later realizes he was wrong when he finds out that Dorothy was making him a costume. |
